A generous cover and a fanfare finale, for the founding show of the famous duo. In an augmented version for children's choirs and Harmony Orchestra.
It was their first show as a duo, in 2014, and it remains in memory like a little moment of fantasy, of life, of creativity. Tony Melvil et Usmar, the first to learn classical violin, the other to electro and machines of all kinds, met there, with When I grow up. A series of delicate songs, sometimes serious, sometimes absurd, often light, who question the adult they have become, the child they were, and take a tender look at the promises they had made to themselves.
Today, five years and almost 200 later performances, the adventure continues for this show hailed by a favorite from the Académie Charles Cros and an Adami prize. On the initiative of the Big Blue, of which Tony Melvil is associated artist, the two friends will travel the region all autumn before a finale in the form of fireworks. Augmented and participatory version of their founding show, Terminus Sébastopol will bring together children’s choirs met on the tour on stage, joined by the Lille-Fives Harmony Orchestra.
