Since this is the time for assessments and projects, what about this album that will follow “age possible”?
This is 3 years since the project began in. I remember first post – I transfered this blog-writing in early January 2006 ! I launched into writing the first titles. Since it is past things : more than twenty titles, arranged two, three, or four times, collaborations more or less successful, doubts, of questioned, pétages of plums ! But ultimately still want to go after.

Since last summer, I'm finally in the home stretch. I found the studio and the engineer to complete the album. This is called “Reptile” Who Mixe album (he worked with Ntm, Assassin, Oneyed Jack, Trust, Casey, Sniper, Leo screams). It has already been mixed 6 securities and it was really a pleasure. He mixed discs that have been major influences in my musical journey. I was particularly proud to work with him. To spoil anything, we like the same music over and banging bars good laugh, was well discussed life, and it is important to achieve a good record. Yeah !!!
Today we still have 7 securities and finish is pending.
The tracks of 6 mixed tracks do not allow us to get a label.
The reason ? je l'ignore.
“I'm not enough…” or “I am too…” or “but it is…”
I legitimately asked : Is what I'm bad or the recording industry has no cojones ?
Spent long moments of depression, we decided to start the job without them (record labels) and go directly radios (without them, no salvation !) So my fate and future of the disk depends on the next three months. One “T’abuses” (1 as we want to put forward) Password radio, it will be easier to go “RE-canvass” labels since half the job is done, and therefore half the risk for them (the return on investment !)
The media and “those who know nothing” We bowl every street corner, today the exchange record industry and it is a revolution ! (for which : the listener ? consumer ? the label boss ? Artist ?). While, the revolution is on but the system remains the same. How to exist as an artist without a partner, without a label that invested heavily in advertising, le marketing, achieving clip, the distribution, press relations… (it must be that we are told that artists exist… they casually refer Radiohead Christophe Maé !)
Today with the recording industry is going wrong, purchasing power at half, multiplication positions leisure, piracy, it becomes difficult to remove a disc and even just go in these costs !
You have to pay the engineer, musicians, studio not to mention the hundreds of hours of composition, research to create these songs. I know what I'm talking about because this is my manager and I – as an independent producer – who take care of these expenses.
I'm on stand-by, en suspens, I wait for the thaw ! So I look for a partner who believes in my art project (this is important to me !) and commercial (it is important to him !). I might as well finish my record and give him a chance to get in acceptable conditions.
Here I am on Tuesday 20 January 2009 ! pending and in doubt and god knows I do not like it !

to clarify a bit what you say, from what I understand, you expect someone who :
– sincerely believe in your art project,
– expects to develop a business with the sale in any form whatsoever of your music.
should be able to live his music and reasonably without excess and without betraying his image or his art project, not ?
but all day long and media, is 'who sold the most hard', 'Who filled the room more’ … then the professionals of the world of music are convinced that the only possibility of return was in 'big shot'.
Yet a return to crafts using digital opportunities must we bail out. the only thing we have to avoid, is to enrich its bad new investors through false good ideas like 'mymajorcompagny’ and other, who play the role of intermediary unnecessary pocketing money.
